Classic Dutch doors from Rogue Valley Door are a great option to give any room or entrance an added touch of style. These doors can act as two separate sections or easily function together as a whole. Most of our door designs can be made into a Dutch door. The original idea of the Dutch door design was to keep farm animals out of rural homes and to keep young children inside. Also, the design allowed light and air through the open top; combining a door with a large window. When the top half of the door was open it let a breeze in the house but stopped dirt from blowing into the Åoors. These qualities are as smart today as when they were originally designed, while giving a home owner a classic look and feel.
